THURSDAY – LIFTING & CARDIO
Let’s just pretend that this morning wasn’t a shit show as far as weather. Holy shit. I feel so bad for people who don’t have cold gear, windbreaker, two pairs of pants on, two pairs of socks, gloves and a headband. Just to let you, I look like this every morning. I’m fucking cold even with all that on.
Warm Up: 4 mins on elliptical, 5 mins of step climber. HR goal, 160 x 2
Pushups x 35ish
Dips: 4 x 20
Upright Rows: 40# x 4 x 14, 14, 12, 12
Overhead plate raises: 10# x 2 x 20, 25# x 2 x 10
Hyperextensions: 1 x 20, 10# x 1 x 18, 25# x 2 x 10
Bent Rows: 40# x 4 x 12, 14, 12, 14 + 3-5 EZ Curls each set

Post cardio: 20 minutes on cross trainer, hill intervals. (Moderate intensity)

Thoughts: I had a crazy thought last night. But my gym clothes were gross from the morning’s workout. Two-a-days. I’ve done them, even three-a-days before. I was getting off the highway when I thought about going. My boyfriend was already there and I passed the road on the way to my house…what happened? I went home. Hunger took over big time, but next week I want to do two, two-a-days.
This morning’s workout was pretty good. I kept the pace very fast, and did a lot of super setting. Once I turn on Pandora, I’m in my mode. I never want to leave that place. I’m so focused and happy and determined.
When I’m done, I stand in the hot shower and wish I could have a hot plate of eggs and a nap. But no, it’s 9 hours of work, a 1 hour ride on the T and then my car to get home make dinners, lunches, protein shakes, and relax with my guy before an 8:30pm bedtime.
Why can’t a girl just do what she wants? 😉
