It was absolutely beautiful out today in Mass. The weather was unbelievable for March – Sunny, 77 degrees, cool breeze, blue skies…PERFECT!

This weekend was good. I really got to relax. Friday after work I picked up my mom in Boston from the airport. Then headed to a friends house to geek for till 3am. We setup four TVs and all played Mass Effect 3 for 5 hours, haha.

Saturday I had to be up at 7:15am for an appointment for my car. Although driving there, a piece of metal from a truck fell of it and hit the right side of my car – chipping and scraping my headlight and paint. I hit the gym for an hour of cardio, went to Corey’s nephews birthday party then relaxed for the rest of the night.

Today we were wicked lazy and just laid in bed all morning. It felt so good. We then headed to Horn Pond to do some running.

I still can’t last the full 2.5 miles without my right shin tightening up. BUT, I got about 2 miles into it!! Took us about 14 minutes to run 2 miles!! The shoes I decided to try out felt much better. I think only when I stopped to tie my shoe, I stopped too quickly and hurt it. So today I could only do 2.5 miles 😦

BUT, I’m getting stronger. Corey ran the full 5 miles as I laid on a bench, stretched and got some sun.

Thoughts: Such a laaammme workout. I felt so damn tired, the 25s were hard to push up. I hate having off days for whatever reason. We got there late, had way too many people interrupt the flow of the workout, and couldn’t get my head together. It wasn’t a BAD workout, just not as hard as I wanted it to be. Not focused. I am proud that I only stopped three times doing 60 full pushups!
