Thoughts: Corey and I drove to a local pond and did a quick run. It’s been awhile since we ran outdoors, so with the cold in my lungs again, it did hurt.
But it was good. I know it will get easier and easier. I originally thought it was only 1.5 miles, but it was actually closer to 2.5 miles. I’m really proud of myself.
Have I said that I love my new shoes and watch? Thanks to my fucking awesome boyfriend, I’ve got new running shoes!!

Thoughts: First three consecutive miles I’ve done in a while. I’m very proud of myself! My right shin is a little weak, and definitely needs some strengthening again because I had to stop here and there to stretch or else it went numb. But I said fuck it, stretch, get the feeling back and keep going. Corey and I were beasts! Running stamina is 100% our weakness. We can sprint, but running distance sucks. I even started my fucking period tonight, and usually I’m a big bitch. Little milestones like this help me push forward, even when everything around me seems to be falling apart. But I’ve got my family, I’ve got some great girl friends, and the best, supportive man anyone could have, in my life.
