Don’t Starve a Cold of Exercise

So I have always pondered the thought of working out while sick, so I decided to try a while ago, although I turned down the intensity. I found that I had no change in symptoms, no change in how I felt. I did find it more aggravating to breathe and keep my focus, obviously. It was interesting to read this because I have always wondered if studies had been done on this.
But I think they fail to mention that if you do decide to workout while being sick, you may be putting everyone else in the gym at risk and spreading the cold much faster. Make sure to clean every machine, and to be mindful of people around you if you are sneezing and coughing.
Although I understand the need to keep with your workouts, believe me I do, I do think its a good idea to take at least one day off to recuperate and for the sake of everyone else around you.
